My first craft project for the baby. I started a quilting class a month ago. Yesterday, I put all the pieces together, so it's ready to have the top, middle and bottom together and actually start quilting it.
Here's the progression:
Material all picked out...

...my nine blocks with sashing.

Started on the border...

...and the other sides.

The finished top...

...and the back of the quilt.
Laurie, You did a fabulous job! Your new love will especially enjoy having this quilt to keep him/her warm. And when he/she knows that Mama made it...it will be extra special. Congratulations! Jan
ReplyDeleteWow. You are so motivational. I mean you use your waiting time to be SO dang productive and focused on the adoption in a positive way. No dwelling about how slowly time is going for you...
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteBeautious! :) Whoever helped you decide what arrangement to put the squares? ;)
